General Job Description:

Assume a leading, active role in the manufacturing operation as a Quality Control Supervisor. Work with the Quality Control team to support and evolve quality standards and operating procedures to assure a consistent, quality product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure that company and customer quality goals are met

- Analyze materials and end products to determine levels of conformance

- Use tools, such as: rulers, drop gauges, micrometers, and scales.

- Document quality parameters throughout the production process

- Engage and coordinate with production personnel on quality data and process methods

- Bring critical thinking skills to contribute to and improve the quality process

- Control the disposition of non-conforming raw materials and finished goods

- Review documentation and complete forms

- Work under the Quality Assurance Manager with the Quality Team

- Perform other responsibilities to support the needs of the QC department as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Bilingual in English and Spanish languages (preferred)

- Must have knowledge of quality principles, quality programs, and manufacturing systems

- Ability to self-start and work independently with limited supervision.

- Skilled at analyzing data, summarizing results, generating performance metrics

- Ability to follow written and verbal directions with a high level of accuracy

- Must be able to write clear, understandable documentation

- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Ability to work cross-functionally throughout the facility and with management

- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
