Work in an AMAZING location at the premier Senior Community in SAN LUIS OBISPO!

A beautiful modular home community on the Central Coast of California has an immediate opening for a front office assistant who will provide outstanding customer service and assist with the daily operations of a multi-resident modular home senior community. The hired candidate will work under the direction of the HOA Manager and Board of Directors. This is a permanent position. We are not interested in short term candidates.

Experience in the Property Management, RV Park, or Mobile Home Park industry is a plus.

This is a busy office “ so we need hard working, reliable team members.

Applicants MUST have the following skill set “ or the transferable skills providing the ability to be up to speed quickly.

Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), PDF software, and ideally Quickbooks Online accounting software;

Ability to quickly learn Community Rules and Regulations, Operational Processes and respond to customer questions;

Excellent Customer Service (All ages, but experience dealing with seniors is a plus);

Excellent telephone skills;

Excellent computer skills;

Basic bookkeeping;

Responding to customer emails;

Performs general administrative duties such as collecting and logging Assessment and Utility payments, coding invoices, scanning documents, filing, drafting documents, mailing, and ordering supplies;

Working with Community service providers and contractors out in the Community;

Walk the Community and photo documenting meter readings and needed maintenance issues;

Tracking deadlines and meeting them without fail;

Understanding of legal issues relating to residents, tenants and HOA processes, and willingness to learn same.

While the typical schedule for this position is five days per week (Mon-Fri) from 12:00pm to 4:00pm 20 hours per week, overtime may be required as necessary on holidays and during evenings and/or weekends, according to the needs of the Community.

Compensation for this hourly non-exempt position is dependent upon experience, ranging from $13 - $15 p/hr.

Employment is contingent upon completion of satisfactory pre-employment requirements including but not limited to passage of post-offer reference checks, and criminal background check.
