Title: Sales Operations Intern

Job Description:
The Parable Group and its new brand PivotPoint are seeking a Sales Operations Intern to serve a Business Intelligence team, which is responsible for collecting and managing retail, product and customer data sets that require ongoing management, integration maintenance and enrichment.
Responsibilities
Identify local specialty retailers through a variety of web search and list management techniques.
Learn and grow proficiency in use of CRM systems, organizing lead and contact data in repeatable ways and building a robust and marketable database.
Design sales and marketing activities that engage top of funnel prospects with PivotPoint solutions.
Contact independent retail shops to verify business and contact information.
Assist and support retail data process flows, monitoring inventory and transaction point-of-sale data feeds and resolve issues as assigned.
Make recommendations by phone or email to retailers for improving their data quality
Connect with retailers by phone to invite them to participate in webinar events or exploratory conversations.
Desired Skills and Experience
Project & task management – strong ability to prioritize a variety of projects and tasks
Good communicator – ability to engage with customers, many of whom are independent retail business owners and managers
Attention to detail – appreciation for detail and precision in work activities
Excellent spreadsheet skills – ability to manipulate and manage data sets in Excel spreadsheets
Critical Thinking – ability to learn how to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
This paid internship is expected to require between 15 and 25 hours per week and will be based out of The Parable Group’s San Luis Obispo office. An internship continuation offer may be extended to qualified candidates.
