Description Robert Half is partnering with a legal professional services company, seeking a legal assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity.This role will require being on-site in Carlsbad for the first 30 days, then is remote after the training period! Only occasional on-site visits will be required. Therefore, please do not apply if you do not live in the San Diego area. Business hours will be traditional (whether working in-office the first month, and remote thereafter).This in-house role involves working with attorneys and other legal support staff, handling administrative duties such as:entering data into Excel
organizing retainers, invoices, and legal documents in DropBox
drafting correspondence for attorneys
Knowledge of legal jargon (billable hours, equity partners, etc.) and prior law firm experience is helpful, but most important is strong organization and technology skills.
