Minimum 1 year experience in Network Engineering, Implementation and Operations support. Bachelor's Degree in IS related technical field required or equivalent education/experience Network infrastructure which may include: converged internet protocol (IP) networks, wireless local area network (WLAN), wide area network (WAN)/metropolitan area network (MAN), local area network (LAN), virtual private network (VPN)/Firewall. Transmission control protocol (TCP)/IP and open systems interconnection (OSI) model. Routing protocol enhanced interior gateway routing protocol (EiGRP), open shortest path first (OSPF), border gateway protocol (BGP). Frame relay/asynchronous transfer mode (FR/ATM), point-to-point protocol (PPP), high-level data link control (HDLC), multi-link point-to-point protocol (MLPPP) and virtual local area network (VLAN). Digital signal and transmission line (DS3/T3), DS1/T1, fast Ethernet (FAST E), gigabit Ethernet (Gig E), 10 gigabit Ethernet (10 Gig E). Excellent customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Handle multiple complex projects. Act as an advisor or mentor to junior colleagues. Work independently with minimal guidance. Effectively communicate difficult concepts and negotiate with others in a team environment.
