No 3rd party agencies!Data Analyst Overview The DevSci Informatics group is looking for a Data Analyst. The candidate will perform diverse scientific data analysis assignments to support DevSci scientists.Essential Functions The Data Analyst will analyze the large quantity of diverse scientific data that Development Sciences generates in alignment with scientific objectives in Development Sciences.

  • Work with scientific stakeholders to access, process, visualize, and analyze large volumes of diverse data
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support development sciences business needs
  • Develop data analysis solutions and communicate results/recommendations to scientists to meet significant business/scientific needs
  • Assess and apply cutting-edge machine learning/deep learning methods to specific problem domains
  • Have a passion for solving technical problems and applying novel technologies to further scientific goals
  • Collaborate with data management teams to ensure the right data is collected in the optimal format to support data analytics initiatives
  • Work with scientists, research associates and clinical scientists, statisticians and database specialists across the company
  • Present key findings for internal meetings
Required skills/experiences B.S. with 3 years of experiences or M.S. with at least 1 year of experience
  • Understanding of key machine learning/deep learning concepts and algorithms with a track record of applying them towards solving business problems
  • Applied knowledge of AI platforms, technologies, and techniques (e.g. TensorFlow, Theano, Keras, scikit-learn…)
  • Experience with disease modeling, survival analysis, digital biomarkers, transfer learning or time-event sequence models is a big plus
  • Previous biopharma experience is a huge plus
  • Statistical analysis expertise
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent people and written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience working on teams and collaborating with others to solve challenging business problems
