- Working with Developers, QA, and Product Management to define/evaluate requirements
- Assisting in the design, development, documentation, and deployment of software and Infrastructure
- Participating in an on-call rotation to monitor production environments/applications
- Supporting all pre-production environments
- Mentoring other team members
- A Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, CIS, etc.)
- Ability to comfortably work within non-Windows based operating systems and using CLIs
- 4+ years of experience Scripting in at least one of the following: Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Python
- 5+ years of hands on experience using a public cloud provider
- 3+ years of experience using Chef for configuration management
- 2+ years of experience writing/maintaining Dockerfiles
- Ability to troubleshoot/debug issues across multiple systems
- Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, etc.
- Experience supporting on-premise hardware and XenServer/XCP-NG hypervisors
- AWS (RDS, EC2, ECS, Auto Scaling, Lambda, Step Functions, to name a few)
- The Atlassian Stack (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Opsgenie)
- Docker (with docker compose)
- Jenkins (CI/CD)
- Chef (Config Management)
- Rundeck (Orchestration)
- NewRelic (APM/Alerting)
- Windows Server, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux
- C#, PHP, Python, Golang
- SQL Server, Postgres, Redis, Memcached
