Pacific Paper Tube is a family owned, leading manufacturer of paper tubes and cores. Manufacturing plants are located in Stockton, Portland, Las Vegas and Kent, WA. We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to assist us in managing the needs of a diverse workforce of one hundred and fifty plus employees. Psotion reprts to company President.
Responsibilities include working with Managers to implement policies in support of our company culture while ensuring compliance with local, state and federal regulations. Manage all aspects of HR including recruiting, payroll, benefits, FMLA, workers compensation claims, safety and employee relations.
Desired Qualifications-
- Ability to manage a high volume workload and efficiently prioritize competing demands.
- Strong empathy and people skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team effort.
- Willingness to do what is needed within the organization.
- Minimum five years related HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- BS or BA in HR, Business or related field.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Benefits-
This is a full-time position working in our Stockton corporate office that includes medical, dental, 401K, paid holidays and PTO. Compensation is based on experience. Travel to outlying plants once or twice per year required.
