Our DC Human Resources Supervisors play a critical role in our company's success by being true business partners with our distribution center's management team. This individual will maintain an in-depth understanding of business objectives, programs, and challenges. They will also provide consultation and communication to management on team member relations, talent acquisitions and other HR functions in support of the business. This position will focus on hiring and retaining top talent as we continue to get the right parts to the right places at the right time.
Qualifications:
Experience in handling negotiations and collective bargaining environments
Bilingual not required, but preferred
Excellent knowledge of Human Resources Management principles, practices and procedures
Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations including EEO, FMLA, OSHA, FLSA, etc.
Ability to exercise good judgment and make independent decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy and the highest level of discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
Good presentation skills to various groups
High school diploma or equivalent
