As a Regional Property Manager, you will be based in the Northern California area, and will be skilled in many different areas including, but not limited to: property performance/income and expense, supervising CommunityÂManagers, supervising capital improvement projects within your region, preparing and reviewing monthly and quarterly reports, pricing, ensuring adherence to Fair Housing Practices, and Landlord Tenant Laws and maintaining Customer satisfaction. This individual will be responsible for managing multiple properties (1000+units) in the Sacramento, Stockton, Fairfield, and Vallejo areas.ÂÂ
Responsibilities
Work with the Owners and Community Managers to identify property goals and objectives, to maximize and achieve the highest Net Operating Income possible.
Implementation of effective cost control, revenue maximization and delinquency management position
Work with Managers on yearly operating budgets and sales/marketing plans
Ensure all required weekly, monthly and quarterly reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner, including institutional reporting.
Train and motivate team to achieve sales goals
Recruit, train and develop key personnel at each supervised property
Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartment/property management.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 7+ years in property management, with 3 years as a Regional Manager.
Experience managing institutional sites, to include reporting and client experience.
Strong marketing, customer service, pricing and sales skills required.
Must have effective team-building and employee development skills.
Excellent communication with all levels of staff a must!
Must be service- and solution-oriented and have a proven results - driven track record.
Must possess excellent financial and business acumen.
Proven leadership traits and skills a must.
Experience managing multiple markets required.
Excellent computer skills required, Yardi Voyager a must.
This person must reside in the Northern California area.
Driving and air travel required for regular property visits in assigned portfolio and alternative sites. Valid Drivers License and proof of adequate insurance required with clear driving record.
