Position: Front End Frameworks Engineer Location: Cupertino, CA / Remote Start Date: 6/7/2021 Contract Length: 1 year Job Summary We oversee all of the company's advertising and marketing to ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications. In the role of Front End Frameworks Engineer, you will develop and maintain proprietary JavaScript frameworks and CSS systems for the company. You will be responsible for guiding the overall direction and architecture of these libraries as well as evangelizing and supporting that technology across the team as a whole. We are looking for someone to help with our component libraries like a modal, video, a global navigation. They would also be working on our base style bootstrap for the website. The skillsets needed for these tasks are native / vanilla js, HTML, and Sass. While it's nice for the candidates to have experience with all three, we are open to folks that tend towards or more specialize in one of the two areas (js vs Sass and html) Key Qualifications
  • You have at least 3 years of experience working with creative teams across design and user experience (UX) disciplines, implementing and advising on fundamental visual and interactive design discipline.
  • You have 1 to 2 years of professional software development experience with front-end web development (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX).
  • You are comfortable with source version control software and package managers (SVN, Git, and NPM).
  • You are a strong JavaScript programmer who doesn't need to rely on libraries to accomplish innovative interactions.
  • You understand JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a focus on performance.
  • You have experience with web standards, semantic web, accessibility, SEO, and the interplay between them.
  • You understand all major browsers and the special considerations required for all various quirks.
  • You are willing to take the initiative to solve problems.
  • You are a strong oral and written communicator with good social skills.
  • You are well versed in the fundamentals of visual and interactive design, with the ability to craft solutions using web standards and semantic markup.
  • You demonstrate a good grasp of semantic markup, templates (Handlebars), and front-end development.
  • You are proficient in CSS3, LESS, and Sass, and you can write mixings, partials, use source maps, and more.
  • You have a working knowledge of package managers and front-end build tools in a production environment (npm, Bower, gulp, and Grunt).
  • You dream of working in a creative and dynamic environment.
