Wireless Systems Test Engineer

Looking for a solid wireless systems test engineer who can support wireless outdoor testing/fixed wireless access testing. This person should have experience with testing 5 Ghz and 60 Ghz testing. A background and understanding of testing devices from wireless internal service providers is required. This person should understand networking, (NMS/EMS), and have lab testing experience.

Required:

Fixed Wireless/Outdoor testing experience. Mounting equipment on buildings and such. (Mobile extenders, Wifi, etc).

Experience with wireless internal service providers: CBRS devices/vendors, Wifi outdoor equipment, mesh network testing.

Fixed wireless access testing experience.

Experience with LTE Cellular equipment testing, Wifi testing, 802.11ad testing, RF Testing, Network Testing, etc.

Experience with lab testing & outdoor network testing: Speed tests, rate versus range tests, antenna tests, setting up and operating outdoor wireless devices, end-to-end over the air tests, acceptance tests, unit tests, integration tests, debugging, etc.

Solid documentation skills: Test plans, Test Catalogues, etc.

Good networking background TCP/IP, routers, switches.

Good knowledge of NMS/EMS (Network Management Systems/Element Management Systems)

Pluses:

EPC knowledge.

Equipment Vendors:

Experience with 3.5-5GHZ and 60 GHZ equipment vendors.

3.5-5 GHZ: Parana

5 GHZ: Ubiquity, Mimosa,

60 GHZ: Facebook Terragraph, CCS/Adtran, Cambium.
