Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 Months.

Description
  • The Solutions Architect role in the IT Collaboration team will be primarily focused on defining and building out optimal solutions to leverage Box with business partners across all departments.
  • Be a core member of the collaboration team and work collaboratively with the broader collaboration team as well as cross functional teams.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed recommendations for how Box can be reconfigured and optimized to better serve the needs of the business, improve end user experience and increased adoption
  • Play a critical role in building and sustaining business partner relationships while driving the adoption of the Box product and platform
  • Lead training for internal employees focused on supported platforms and products.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions
  • Engage with technical staff to contribute to the technical strategy and design to meet business needs
  • Create technical documentation for the support teams and customers.
  • Proactively research and evaluate tools and technologies, as appropriate, to the collaboration environment.

Required Skills
  • As a Box Solutions Architect, you need a thorough understanding of O365, Box and other platforms including Microsoft SharePoint, Zoom, and MS Teams
  • 5 – 8+ years of development experience creating enterprise solutions
  • Ability to assist and guide with Box best practices and standards
  • Ability to lead project implementations with responsibility of architecture designs and solution strategy
  • Experience working with IT and business teams to optimize and streamline business processes and technical solutions.
  • Ability to effectively present product and/or solution information to both a technical and non-technical audience.
  • Up-to-date understanding of collaboration managed services offerings
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Broad experience in eliciting requirements and communicating clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other ancillary project members
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents
