About the Role The Desktop Support Analyst performs as a support resource for enterprise device maintenance and issue resolution. The role is responsible for performing PC imaging for a high-volume PC refresh project and will collaborate with both internal and external parties in resolution practices. Responsibilities
Acts as a support point regarding technical issues within an enterprise environment. Stages and images computers (unboxing, setting up in staging area, imaging machines using client process). Maintains and updates equipment records in inventory and stock as required by the customer. Performs hard drive data wipes of refreshed equipment. Maintains an organized staging center. Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical personnel. Supports internal policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous IT support experience required. Associate's Degree in Information Technology or other related field strongly preferred. Strong ability to utilize clear and effective written and verbal communication. Strong organizational skills with a solution-based, problem-solving mindset. Experience displaying strong communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technically proficient IT professionals as well as end-users in an understandable and comprehensive manner. Experience in data wipes and imaging PCs. Willingness to take initiative to work with leadership to keep busy during slow periods. Ability to work in an imaging center performing repetitive, process-defined duties.
