Developer Advocate, Professional IIThe Senior Developer Advocate role also includes producing Sample Code, Technical Notes and Technical Q&As to provide our developer community with the tools they need to build world-class applications on the clients platform. We are looking for someone with the ability to react quickly and positively to change in a fast-moving environment.As a Developer Advocate, you can look forward to:.
- Leading a data-driven approach with internal stakeholders of change proposals to improve the developer experience.
- Writing demo code that showcase the clients developer tools.
- Advising developers on best practices when developing and shipping code for the client
- Monitoring developer forums and merchant reviews.
- Acting as a client brand ambassador externally when interacting with third party developers.
- Representing the developer internally when participating in roadmap planning.
- Reviewing App Concepts from third party developers to successful realization.
- Being available to answer operational questions from developers.
- Displaying excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree required, CIS, MIS, EE or technology related discipline preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as a Developer Advocate or technical customer/client facing position.
- Experience working with Open API platforms.
- Experience and comfort level presenting technical information to a technical audience.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of relational databases.
- Experience in writing SQL queries and creating reports.
- Experience in programming or scripting languages.
- Experience with SQL data capture, data mining, and running SQL DB queries.
- Technical requirements gathering for software application projects.
- Experience in both technical and customer-facing roles.
- Experience building and maintaining developer certification programs.
- Experience building surveys and feedback forms.
- Experience moderating posts on social platforms.
