- Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures and Linux/Unix administration, Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferred.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Groovy, Perl, Python, Bash.
- Exposure to any programming languages such as Python, GOLang and C is a plus.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes on platforms such as ECS and EKS. (must have)
- Exposure to monitoring tools such as PrometheGrafana.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with project management and workflow tools and concepts such as Jira, Agile, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.
- Experience with open-source technologies and tools.
- Experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2 and S3.
- Experience in working with Terraform, Ansible and Chef for infrastructure automation and configuration.
- Experience in software development and infrastructure development is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, BitBucket, Artifactory
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management.
- More than two years of experience in a DevOpsEngineer role (or similar role).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems.
- Current with industry trends, IT ops and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones we should implement.
- Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed.
- Solid team player.
