Executive Producer, Corporate Events, Brand and Creative for our direct client.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Duration: 6 Months.

  • Our clients is looking for a contingent Executive Producer, Corporate Events to join our Brand and Creative team on a six-month contract to further define and execute our virtual, physical, and hybrid experiences at events across North America, Asia, and Europe

Position Description
  • As we continue to further establish our clients brand experience and expand our category leadership, we need to continue evolving our Global Events execution.
  • As Executive Producer, Corporate Events, you’ll define a strategic vision and manage the production of global industry, society, and Our clients owned events.
  • This will require collaboration with global marketers, sales professionals, corporate and regional events teams, and a roster of leading agencies, vendors, and freelancers.
  • We’re looking for someone with demonstrated experience owning and producing events of different size and complexity including live event production, virtual event programming and broadcast, and traditional event support including coordinating and managing video and photography integration and coverage.
  • You’ll have direct experience producing and directing event pre-records, working with executives and employees as talent, calling live shows, and managing a team to do the same.
  • You’ll directly guide a small team, and collaborate on run of show and que to que schedules, coordinate with design teams on show specific creative direction, and manage production and delivery of events broadcast from multiple locations simultaneously.
  • The Executive Producer, Corporate Events will bring a laser-focused attention to detail and deep team management and production coordination and management experience across the United States, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions.
  • You should have high emotional intelligence for cross-departmental collaboration and work to make your team, stakeholders, freelancers, vendors, and colleagues feel at ease before and during production.
  • Equally important is your ability to remain cool under pressure, be prepared for the unexpected, and ultimately keep production and post-production running smoothly.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide audit and review of existing approaches to event coverage, production & broadcasting strategy, including post-event content hosting strategy, with input from regional marketing teams and aligned with corporate marketing initiatives
  • Align vision and execution of strategies with Our clients brand guidelines and overall aesthetic principles to telegraph a consistent visual and experiential language to viewers and participants
  • Think strategically and understand the core stages of the event production process and its application to our broader brand building and customer marketing efforts
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines
  • Deep understanding of event production, post-production, and hosting to allow for detailed review and negotiation of vendor bids and usage terms to fit budget
  • Reconcile actual production costs versus estimated costs and process invoices according to Our clients processes
  • Collaborate with our Production Manager and current Events Producers to map out a project's schedule and ensure project members are hitting required milestones to ensure a quality and timely delivery
  • Collaborate and/or create run of show docs, shot lists, and production plans to communicate the requirements for each event you’re working on
  • Travel domestically or globally for productions as needed, which could include events at Our clients offices, customer locations, industry trade shows / conferences, or production studios
  • Prioritize pre-event recording productions with internal resources or external vendors and be prepared to organize raw footage for ingestion on our video server
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and stakeholder to ensure the event content meets compliance, regulatory, and legal requirements
  • Remain current with industry best practices for producing, engaging audiences, and driving a compelling attendee experience
  • Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements
  • Beginning to Intermediate familiarity and use of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, specifically Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, and Audition

Required Skills
  • BA / BFA / MFA degree preferred in Video Production, Film, or Communications
  • Solid, demonstrated 3+ years of team management and 10+ years of event production experience for clients / brands, preferably in technology, and/or a regulated industry such as financial services or medical/life sciences
  • Demonstrated experience building and growing a team within a matrixed corporate environment
  • Experience effectively owning, supporting, or managing multiple projects and deadlines across global teams, while organizing and prioritizing tasks from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working across multiple departments and personnel to create and ensure high production value experience are delivered
  • Experience with enterprise level project management tools like Workfront, Jira, basecamp, or similar
  • Excellent communication, writing, editing, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to communicate at all levels within the organization; expert-level fluency in written and spoken English
  • Strong organizational skills specifically when planning, tracking, and maintaining accurate project plans, and managing delivery against milestones and goals
  • Excellent self-management skills that translates into strong and engaging team leadership
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum project methodology and workflow—benefit of having prior Scrum Master and/or Product Owner certification or experience
  • Ability to keep a cool head and emotional resilience while juggling multiple productions
