5+ years of implementing GIS Solutions for Utilities.
- Experience of at least 1 or 2 full-cycle implementation for a utility (ie. Power/ Water/Sewer/Fence Lines) with hands on design, development and deployment experience in GIS.
- In-depth knowledge with GIS Product Architecture, ArcIGS server, ArcFM, Data Model, web services, python scripting, geo-processing services. • Knowledge of commonly used publicly available GIS sources
- Ability to understand, analyze, and dene user requirements for a given GIS task and recommend and provide a GIS solution • Able to work well alone and with remote team members.
- Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills are essential. Description As a member of our team, your activities will include:
- Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of GIS applications to meet customer needs and enterprise requirements
- Manages/congures Esri Enterprise GIS system (ArcGIS Server and Portal) and develops data organization/protocols (or similar systems)
- Utilizes ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS to create web maps and geo apps (or similar systems)
- Develops scripts and tools for managing data, including designing data standards, structures, forms, and report• Formats and generates a variety of GIS products including standard and custom maps and map series, standard map templates, shapeles, graphics, tables, and reports
- Researches source documents and/or coordinates with others to resolve missing or conicting data and other anomalies • Maintains clean, organized, and well-designed le structures for both spatial and non-spatial data
- Stays current of new trends and technology in GIS applications Education & Experience
- BS or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, GIS, or related eld or equivalent experience will be considered. Additional Requirements
- While the following skills are not necessary, they would be helpful in understanding our space:
- Experience working with spatial datasets (Geojson) and curating them for use in a visual display would constitute an added bonus
- Background in GIS is a huge plus
- Knowledge of Tableau is preferred
