Our direct client is an American corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Location: Based in Sunnyvale CA, or Atlanta GA The Project Manager will work on business enhancements and projects in applications used by Finance, HR and Legal. These include, but are not limited to, Oracle HCM, SAP (Finance/Controlling/HR modules and their integration to others), Taleo, Compensation. Skill/Job Requirements:
- Competency Requirements: (Competency is based on education, training, skills and experience). In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual must:
- Have at least 10 years of experience leading IT initiatives supporting Finance and HR organizations.
- Knowledge of business process Human Capital Management: Talent Acquisition, Total Compensation and HR Operations
- Workforce Planning: form strategy planning to tool sourcing, marketing, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding in IT systems
- Knowledge of talent attraction strategy, and have worked on projects that generated brand awareness, build a quality pipeline and enable the success of the Product recruiting team.
- Ability to influence business teams, including management, in the selection and design of technology solutions as well as implementation approaches.
- Experience with SAP Finance, Ariba, Taleo, Hyperion, Oracle HCM experience a plus.
- Successful track record in leading cross-functional, cross-team projects.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical skills, and ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.
- B.S. in Computer Science or related area.
- Collaborate with HR sub-teams, IT, Corporate Communications, business units, and other groups as appropriate.
- Manage and coordinate HR-related project activity resulting from business requirements.
- Establish direction and define clear goals for specific projects. Define and communicate the path to achieving these goals.
- Develop work & resource plan for the deployment of IT solutions for the business areas.
- Participate in the definition of project development/deployment metrics.
- Work with the Business and Director of Corporate Applications to prioritize projects.
- Create, execute and maintain project work plans, identifying resources and assigning individual responsibilities.
- Manage project scope, risks and issues.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed with the accepted level of quality.
- Ensure appropriate communication on system changes to key stakeholders as well as the business applications team.
- Track project budgets.
- Ensure the project team works together focusing on common objectives.
- Resolve team conflicts.
- Work with IT Managers to improve individual team member performance.
- Ensure team members comply with IT change management policy and company standards, methods and procedures.
- Ensure internal controls are followed and report exceptions immediately
