Job Description:AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an IT Support specialist. The IT support specialist is responsible for Setting-up, monitors and operates computer and peripheral equipment to process data by performing the following duties. Responsible for implementation and support of the organization's computer system infrastructure. Performs support for Warehouse System, Shipping System and other business application which interfaces to ERP application. Coordinates and interface with IT group company for all IT related matters to support the client's Global computer system and business application.

Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinates IT related projects and activities with IDEC Group companies.
  • Support, assist, install, set-up employees' computer and mobile devices.
  • Develops and promotes standard operating procedures.
  • Conducts hardware and software audits to ensure compliance.
  • Perform IT helpdesk support to ensure user's satisfaction.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities with IT vendors.
  • Assist in monitoring all servers and applications issue and perform fixes to minimize downtime. Discuss and coordinates issues with System Administrator if needed.
  • Provides computer hardware and software support for workstations, mobile devices, and communication systems (including network, data & phone lines, phone system, WIFI system, conference system, etc.)
  • Enters commands and presses buttons and flips switches on computer and peripheral equipment such as printer, data communications equipment, and to integrate and operate equipment.
  • Loads peripheral equipment with selected materials such as printer paper for operating runs or oversees the loading of peripheral equipment by peripheral equipment operators.
  • Enters commands to clear computer system and start operation.
  • Observes peripheral equipment and error messages displayed on monitor to detect faulty output or machine stoppage.
  • Enters commands to correct error or stoppage and resume operations.
  • Takes appropriate actions in case of errors or equipment stoppage and notifies vendors and supervisor.
  • Clears equipment at end of operating run and reviews schedule to determine next assignment.
  • Records problems that occurred, such as downtime, and actions taken.
  • Prepares and monitors schedule replacement for PC, printers and other computer devices and peripherals.
  • Support business user issues and set up for Company provided mobile devices.
  • Support remote users for VPN, computer and phone issues.
  • Monitors ERP end of day batch jobs and resolve issues if needed.
  • Informs programmer for any application related problem.
  • Answers telephone calls to assist computer users encountering problem.
  • Revises operation schedule to adjust for delays.
  • Maintains and clears printer room and computer room.
  • Recommends changes in programs, routines, and quality control standards to improve computer operating efficiency.
  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly systems back up.
  • Reviews and checks the system mirroring to ensure its synchronization.
  • Consults with supervisor about problems such as equipment performance, output quality, and maintenance schedule.
  • Confers with programmers and operates computer to test new and modified programs.
  • Maintains department contracts and files.
  • Provides application support for Warehouse, Shipping, Navision reports, and other business application which have interface with the main ERP system.
  • Creates, develop and writes business report for business users as needed.
  • Analyze and review issues for Warehouse and Shipping System.
  • Assist in analyzing business application such as Navision reports and Warehouse/Shipping Reports.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolve business application problems.
  • Provides PC h/w and s/w support whenever necessary.
  • Backup System administration functions whenever necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE BS in computer related degree with Business knowledge a plus; one or more years of computer operation experience.
