Job Title: Lab TechnicianLocation: Sunnyvale, CA [Day-1 Onsite]Duration: Long term contract JD: Supplier Briefing Notes:- Will be working side by side with lab specialist
- Working on a team of 8, 3 other contractors, 4 other onsite
- Plus, if they have managed RHBM
- Working on back-end automation
- Strong Linux troubleshooting skills and must have Python skills
- Typical interview process: once screened, meeting over video for 30 minutes, 1 round
- Likely to extend but not turn permanent
- No degree okay if have relevant experience from Data Center
- Strong Linux knowledge - min. 2 years
- Python scripting - min. 2 years
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 2+ years of experience in Data Center environment.
- Networking and hypervisor management
- NO proof of vaccination required
- Manage ticketing queue with teammates
- Lab Infrastructure support for multiple labs
- Cloud infrastructure & Automation support (Quali)
- Resource coordination
- Inventory control
- Customer support
- Data storage support (SAN, iSCSI)
- Sever Farm & Hypervisor management (KVM, RHVL, VMware)
- Network Support
- Troubleshooting various software and hardware equipment/environments
- Rack and install data center equipment
- Open communication with various team members/leaders
- Experience with a scripting language (Python, bash, node.js, etc.)
- Experience with Linux OS
- knowledgeable of server hardware and software
- knowledgeable of routers and switches (Networking)
- knowledgeable of Access Points and controllers
- knowledgeable of traffic generators and testing equipment (Spirent)
- knowledgeable of terminal servers and PDU equipment
- Excellent time management skills.
