Systems Administrator - Mac

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (ONSITE)Background check - criminal, drug screen

Job Introduction: (Primary purpose of this position) •This position defines, implement and maintain compliant and secure IT operations for all Mac systems at MBRDNA. It provides central services to provision and deploy the necessary HW/SW according to the user's requests. •This position plays a collaborative role with our end-clients Teams to define a roadmap for future Mac services. •This position also ensures that IT governance principles are implemented for all MAC systems in order to maintain the RD network integrity and ensure the RD information are properly handled on Mac systems. •This position defines, implements, maintains and forecasts backend infrastructures for MBRDNA sites, as it pertains to Mac services.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities•Maintenance and development of JAMF backend infrastructure, aligning MBRDNA services with those of Daimler RD Mac services •Maintenance and development of storage environment (Crashplan) with the support of local vendors and Daimler back end expert teams •Coordination of IT security topics (re-imaging infected machine by User Help Desk, incident management process, Scan counter measures) •Serves as the lead for cross-training other IT Team members on JAMF administration tasks •Local subject matter expert for all Mac, JAMF and Crashplan topics •Support engineering operations by provisioning licenses for engineering software and installing engineering SW (validation of eng. SW is done as pre-requisite) •Level 3 for Mac Services

Education & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field

Minimum skills required : 2 Years in the administration and support of Mac systems using the JAMF architecture

Will accept equivalent work experience in lieu of formal education -

Combination of Degree and Years of experience acceptable (minimum) :

Bachelors + 2 yrs / Masters + 0 yrs

Preferred Qualifications:•ACMT, ACSP or ACA •ITIL
