Red Oak Technology is seeking a
Project Manager with Backup and Recovery for our client located in Sunnyvale, CA for a long term Contract position. This is not a remote position Responsibilities: Senior Program/Project Manager to manage multiple medium to large infrastructure Backup and Recovery (BAR) projects.- Be hands-on and customer-focused
- Track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure deployments
- Manage large-scale infrastructure deployments for BAR technology
- Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practices
- Adapt project plans, schedules, and resource assignments as required throughout projects to respond to emerging requirements and risks
- Technology Degree or equivalent experience, PMP preferred
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
- IBM Spectrum Protect (formerly TSM)
- RMAN/DDboost
- Veritas NetBackup
- EMC DataDomain
- 5 EMC ECS
- Must have enterprise Experience.
- 3 to 5+ years of strong project management experience
- Proven ability to partner with technical project managers and software engineering teams.
- Excellent at written and oral communication.
- Ability to take initiative and run projects successfully.
- Self-starter with personal responsibility and ownership skills.
- Scrum Certified is ideal.
- Agile methodology experience.
- A successful track record in all aspects of a project development lifecycle.
- Problem and conflict solving abilities collaborating and influencing people across organizations and levels
- Ability to lead multiple cross-functional projects concurrently in a fast paced environment
- Ability to ramp up on new technologies quickly
