Primary responsibilities include executing test plans, updating test reports, debugging and writing defect reports, verifying fixes, developing test automation scripts, and building automation solutions.Contract Duration - Long term contractResponsibilities:Design, develop and execute scripts for testing web and mobile applicationsMaintain and improve existing automation frameworksReview technical requirements, author detailed test plan, and test case documentationIdentify, isolate and replicate software defects, research root causes, and debug issuesWrite detailed and easy to understand bug reports and verify fixesCommunicate projects risks based on test executionRequirements:4+ years of professional development experienceStrong problem solving, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skillsReview functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverablesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate any QA issues and push for a suitable resolution in a timely mannerExperience with planning, scheduling, and performing QA activitiesCoding experience with object oriented programming languages, preferably JavaScriptExperience with automation scripts using tools like, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Protractor, Mocha, Jasmine, TestNGGood understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, XML, JSON and REST APIsGood understanding of modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React, AngularExperience with databases, API, backend systems, and mobile testing (iOS/Android)Experience with GitLab and continuous integration build system such as JenkinsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsBachelor"s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
