As our Senior Wireless Hardware Lab Engineer, you will:

  • Lead a small team of engineers to bring up new design, troubleshooting, optimization of design, etc.
  • Guide the development of test and measurement processes to get to the root cause of problems.
  • Guide lab staff in executing testing plans using RF equipment.
  • Work with system schematics and identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Work with cross-functional hardware, software and system validation teams, and develop solutions collaboratively.
  • Set the standard for careful data analysis, clear presentation of results, and documentation of performance and processes.
Qualities of a Successful Candidate:
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with RF/Digital layout and PCB implementation.
  • Knowledge of PLL circuits, mixers, and filters
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with radio frequency electronics or microwave systems/components
  • Ability to write simple computational code in Matlab
  • Solid foundation of comms theory and some knowledge of signal processing.
Preferred Qualities/Nice to Have:
  • Working knowledge of WIFI or 3GPP 4G/5G system specifications
  • Experience with RF power amplifiers and linearization.

Qualities of a Successful Candidate:
  • MS in Electrical Engineering (or BS in Electrical Engineering with 1+ years of work experience).
  • Ability to write simple computational code in Matlab.
  • Solid foundation of comms theory and some knowledge of signal processing
  • Prior exposure to radio frequency electronics or microwave systems/components
  • Experience with lab equipment including spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, network analyzer, and signal generator
Preferred Qualities/Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with digital circuits and FPGAs
  • Working knowledge of WIFI or 3GPP 4G/5G system specifications
