We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who is an authority in building and deploying modern, accessible web applicationsSpecifically:- A minimum of 5+ years of industry experience coding in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS/CSS3- Extensive experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1), including design, implementation, accessibility testing, and deployment of code that is fully accessibly- Extensive experience programming with PHP and dynamic web application languages, including frameworks such as CodeIgniter- In-depth experience implementing HTML5 and responsive / adaptive web design- A deep understanding of JS MVC frameworks, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Mustache JS, jQuery, JSON, SVG is needed- In depth knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility standards and behaviors- Experience using Git- A keen eye for detail and experience collaborating with design teams to deliver extraordinary web experiences- Superb communication, leadership and presentation skills- High ownership, self-sufficient, hands-on leader to drive quality and stability (debugging, etc.)- Ability to brainstorm and communicate technology ideas and issues with peers and IT managementNice to Haves:- Experience in the following: MySQL databases, AJAX/REST, JSON, JS Libraries and CSS3 animations (SASS is helpful)- Understanding of Bayside’s current UI design standards across Bayside sites and branding materials- Experience with Learning Management Systems, SCORM, and xAPI is a plusResponsibilities will include the following:- Build, deploy, and maintain robust full stack web applications that are accessible to all usersEducationB.S. in Computer Science and a minimum of 5+ years of industry experience
