Please do not apply if C2C This is a long-term contract position that will last at least through the year and will likely be extended.Position will be remote until at least July 1st. Once offices reopen, this position will be based out of Sunnyvale, CA - Must relocate at this time if not local. Schedule will likely involve 2 days/wk onsite with the others being work from home. Pay range for this position is $44-49.00 per hour. The hiring manager is looking for experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, TDD, AWS, and Kubernetes.

Job Description:We’re looking for a dedicated and passionate full stack Software Engineer to join our team and help lead the way to improve and transform the TV watching experience. In this position, you will work closely with multiple teams of engineers and 3rd party partners within an internal Agile development environment.You love what you do because it makes a difference to developers and the end user. Your mission is to help change and improve the experience of developing an application platform for the largest cable provider in the US. Responsibilities:
  • Work with multiple product and engineering teams to support app launching platform development.
  • Apply industry best-practice software standards and technology to complex business problems.
  • Identify opportunities and the define requirements to improve our development toolkit.
  • Be a key member of a top-notch engineering team that aims to deliver app launching platform.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of full stack experience, preferably with Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Experience with AWS, Concourse, and Kubernetes
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently, fast learner, and pays attention to detail.
  • Experience with troubleshooting complex systems and providing solutions.
  • Desire to work in a small team, in a start-up like environment.

Nice to Have Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing microservices.
  • Experience or working knowledge of Test Driven Development.
  • Prior experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
