- Provide technical perspective for our Construction Technology platform globally
- Leading a team of 3-4 engineers as you build out the SAAS platform.
- Convert high-level product requirements into definitive technical deliverables, designs & plans
- Contribute towards Design and development of scalable multifaced Data processing platform
- Vet your systems for fault tolerance, scalability, high availability & agility
- Establish a deep technical understanding of our technology partners and ecosystem
- Keep engineering leadership informed on progress and actively manage risks and issues
- Keep the success of our customers as the guiding principle of everything you do
- Ensure the success of your team by effort estimations & planning, continuously unblocking challenges & owning its deliverables end to end
- 30-40% of your time will be hands on coding.
- Reflect critically on designs, processes, and frameworks to improve the speed/quality, or usability of your pod's deliverables
- 5+ years of development experience as a Lead Software Engineer
- Excellent frontend development experience with JavaScript React/Redux
- Experience with NodeJS is highly preferable.
- Experience with SaaS applications.
- Implementing Industry-standard Design principles into production deployed platforms
- In-depth understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms
- Hands-on experience in using cloud SQL, No-SQL, and other distributed data storages
- Deep understanding of latest web technologies, including System Architecture, Cloud Deployments, Containerization, Authentication Systems, and Protocols
- Critical experience in tradeoffs off b/w cost, scale, speed, and agility
- Ability to break & build your own system design, preventing a bad customer experience
- Lead a nimble team of engineers to adopt & advocate for best engineering practices, reusable module designs resulting in a quality and fast-paced deliverable
- Worked across teams to define quantified, deliverable technical details from high-level requirements
- Strong communication skills & ability to estimate, prioritize & execute on the technical plan
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience in Construction Tech and Additive Manufacturing a plus
- Familiarity with AWS Lambda or other serverless microservices
- Experience with IOS and/or Android
- Hand on experience in distributed data processing systems such as Apache Spark, S3, HDFS, etc
