Position: Python Automation Developer

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Roles & Responsibilities:Design and development of software product in PythonCreate test scripts and suites in Python to ensure test result criteriaDevelop automated test and test suite automation using PythonDefine and drive automated test strategies into the validation processUtilize development skills, data manipulation skills and scripting skills to create testsReport on testing progress and strategy and provide interpretation and insight on progress to inform management to take decisions

Required Skills (Technical Competency):Hands-on experience in Python, in Python application programming and automationProven experience developing automated test systems using a scripting language.Write effective, scalable code. Expertise in test and debug of Python programsUnderstanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi-process architectureInvolved in designing and Implementing Test Automation strategyGood hands-on experience in test automation framework development

Desired Skills:Experience programming at least one object-oriented languageStrong knowledge of performance, load, and stress testingStrong working knowledge of QA processes and methodologiesProven understanding of white box, grey box and black box testing techniques
