CEI's Fortune 50 cable, media & technology client is hiring an Embedded SDET to verify changes made within the codebase on embedded devices.
Candidates must be local to Sunnyvale or willing to relocate upon hire without assistance!To apply, candidates need 2+ years’ experience testing embedded code/devices, experience utilizing Jira, Git, and Jenkins, and any experience with RDK or Yocto build for testing is considered a plus.This is a long-term W2 Hourly Contract with pay ranging at $55-$60/hr + benefitsJob Description:- Responsible for verifying changes developers make within the codebase on embedded devices
- Using Jenkins to create Yocto build for testing (to update embedded devices)
- When developers make a change, it’s entered into codebase and this team works through the list of those changes to ensure that they are correct
- The position will begin as remote, however, onsite could be required as early as September (lots of embedded equipment that you'll be working hands-on with).
- 2+ years’ experience testing embedded code/devices, or any experience working with RDK or Yocto build.
- Good experience utilizing Jira and Git
- Experience using Jenkins for CI/CD
- Good understanding of how to update embedded devices
