Our Client is embarking on an MDM transformation journey to build a strong data & analytics capability to support the core foundation of the MDM platform. As part of this effort, the team is serving as the core hub of knowledge on MDM, intelligent data, analytics and data solutions, and successfully executing and managing core transformations. We are looking for a talented and driven individual to accelerate our efforts and be a major part of our data-centric culture.

Detailed Description:

The MDM Data Engineer will be part of the Enterprise Data Warehouse team and will work closely with Data Governance teams, application architects and the Data Engineer team in developing, deploying and maintaining integrations Master Data Management product. This is a hands-on technical role, responsible for design, development, deployment of data pipeline, ETL and MDM workflows and integrations. The Data Engineer will help our Master Data Management team and will engage with development teams, architects, product management and DevOps to configure and tune our analytic data ecosystem.

Primary Responsibilities: • Build data pipeline infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL , cloud based relational or non-relational databases employing Talend , Informatica and/or scripting languages like Perl/Python • Build complex data platforms, and large scale CI/CD data pipelines utilizing a variety of technologies (REST APIs, Teamcity, Jennkis), cloud databases (Snowflake). • Proficient in ETL and possesses working knowledge of MDM tools such as Dell Boomi, Reltio or Informatica MDM • Experience in defining Master Data Management strategies, implementing MDM services and capabilities, Metadata Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality solutions. • Support all aspects of MDM solution, including data ingestion, creation of master record, outbound extracts, and API integration • Work closely with the team and any services/system integration vendors on successful release management • Perform unit tests and conducting reviews with other team members to ensure code is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for performance

Experience and Education Requirement: • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related fields of study • Minimum of 6 years of developing ETL processes using Talend\Informatica including the processing of NoSQL and JSON formats • Minimum 2 years of experience implementing Reltio, Dell Boomi, and Informatica platform for MDM solutions • Minimum 2 years of experience with large Master Data Management and Data Quality implementation • Advanced working experience in SQL/PL-SQL, Snowflake, API • Excellent skills in scripting languages, including Python, Perl and Shell • Excellent skills with Ant, Maven, GIT, Jenkins, TeamCity • Excellent skills in source code repository tools such as Clear Case, SVN, CVS, and Gi. • Deep understanding of ETL, ELT, Talend, Informatica, Hadoop, data warehousing schema and Cloud platforms • Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills • Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences • Demonstrate independence, creativity, and initiative • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite • Certification/License: Talend Certification is preferred
