Sugar Bowl Resort is looking for Gondola Operators to escort guests and their personal belongings to the gondola. Operators will also ensure the safe and efficient transportation of passengers, belongings and freight. Strong focus is placed on guest interaction and quality service as we strive to surpass all our guest’s needs and expectations. This is a SEASONAL position starting ASAP. Located on Donner Summit.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Energetic, friendly and outgoing with strong customer service skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to work in a sometimes high stress, fast paced environment
-Must consider courtesy and safety high priorities
-Must be at least 18 years old
-Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 30 pounds
-Must be able to pass certification course (training provided)
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
-Greeting all guests and employees promptly and enthusiastically
-Efficient gondola operation
-Helping guests load and unload
-Loading and unloading guests’ ski and snowboard gear
-Maintenance of all areas of gondola building and gondola cabins
-Assisting homeowners and hotel guests with luggage and personal items
-Shipping and receiving
-Crowd control
-Snow removal and shoveling before, during and after storms
