Medical Device Test Engineer

Job Title: Medical Device Test Engineer Location: Walnut Creek, CA // NOT REMOTE: ON SITE Locals preferred. Primary Skills: Python, embedded device testing, Medical device, test design & analysis. Interview: PHONE/Video Hire Duration: 6 + months Job # 1. Medical Device Test Engineer in Walnut Creek, CA Python Experience. Experience with embedded device testing. MUST have experience in the medical device domain. MUST have experience with test design and analysis. MUST have 4+ years of experience with software verification of medical devices. Microsoft OS & MS Office Applications Experience. Thorough understanding of FDA Quality System regulations in relation to computer system validation. Familiar with critical elements of the design history file including risk management, design verification and validation tests and ensuring compliance of these elements to procedural requirements. Demonstrated experience with white box testing . Verification of fixtures for software test. Ability to handle complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Description of role: The main function of a QA Analyst is to develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking and reporting, including follow-up and issue resolution. Writes thorough test plans/test protocols, test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios. Executes test protocols, test cases, test scripts and scenarios and log/follow-up on defects. Perform a thorough review of test plans/test protocols, test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
