Applicants must be 21 years of age.

1. Provide a safe environment for staff and guests between the hours of 2pm-12am or 12am-8am.
2. Ensure all buildings and concessions are locked securely and that all staff and guests are out of the building.
3. Patrol the grounds and building of SVSC using the Protrac Perimeter Check system 2-3 times a shift
4. Patrols the parking lots making sure vehicles are not prohibiting snow removal.
5. Escorts ticket seller and managers with cash to cash office.
6. Identify safety hazards and either remedy the problem or report to Risk/Safety Manager
7. Check doors and windows of buildings to ensure they are tightly closed and locked; notes in written log any unlocked doors/windows; submits information to managers.
8. Identify safety hazards and either remedy the problem or report to Risk/Safety Manager.
9. Trained with procedures pertaining to operation of the emergency generators in the event of a power failure.
10. Respond to alarms and dispatched calls; decides what actions to take based on situation, facts known and position limitations.
11. Maintain comprehensive Security Log.
12. Interact with fire department and law enforcement as required and to assist all departments when necessary.

Required:

1. Knowledge of basic security and fire inspection procedures.
2. Able to follow all policies and procedures contained in Security Manual
3. Effective communication skills, oral & written
4. Strong sense of customer service & safety awareness
5. Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
6. Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards
7. Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time

11. Effectively communicate with people in potentially stressful situations.
12. High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations

Required:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Minimum one year security experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
3. A valid California Guard Card is required before you start work
4. A valid Drivers License and clean driving record

Preferred:

1. Experience in law enforcement
2. Basic CPR/AED and first aid training

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and the ability to adjust focus.

Experience
