Quality Technician

Job DescriptionAn Entry-Level Quality Technician job in Temecula, CA is available at Milgard Windows and Doors. You should possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in manufacturing, where quality control tasks were a central part of job responsibilities. We offer development and growth opportunities!Entry-Level Quality Technician job responsibilities include:

Perform process audits of equipment setup and conditions to ensure process controls are met

Assist production in identifying root cause of defect trends and recommends corrective/containment action as appropriate

Adhere to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of job

Proper usage of personal protective equipment

Work with cross-functional teams and leverage LEAN methodologies to drive processes improvement

Qualifications:

At least 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment

High School Diploma or some college preferred

Experience with LEAN and process improvement methodology

Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong interpersonal skills

Critical thinking skills including the ability to understand, effectively interpret and communicate complex situations

Basic shop math skills: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, fraction/decimal conversion, calculate percentage

Proven task record in setting and meeting goals

Establishing credibility and trust among cross-functional teams

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Demonstrated proficiency with computer software
