Job Description: SMCI is seeking a Specialist Business Analyst to work within a cross-functional organization to help define and drive full adoption of Electronic Lab Notebook, Enterprise Data Lake and other key Information Systems that support Core Engineering and Product/Process Development in FPT. The candidate will work with user groups within FPT to refine relevant business processes for digitalization and work with the System program and product teams to build, enhance and update key capabilities supporting the digital workflows. Additionally the candidate will provide user support and feedback for system updates and enhancements from the business to the System product team, and support the business in onboarding and training users in digitalized workflows.

This position may be assigned to a client that requires all individuals on-site to have the COVID-19 vaccination. The individual must be fully vaccinated before starting work at such a client site.

Responsibilities:
Understand the various capabilities of the HLEE Electronic Lab Notebook system (Dassault Systemes 'Biovia'), Enterprise Data Lake, etc. and support roll out and usage to relevant FPT user groups
Manage User stories and Issues for digitalized workflows build within HLEE and other key systems
Represent FPT use cases in HLEE Community Meetings with Program team (Scrums, Enhancement request reviews, etc.)
Participate in business process testing (BPTs) and test-a-thons (TAT)
Coordinate with FPT Digital Champions forum and help develop training materials and support provision of expert training to users in the FPT community
Share best practice of data analytics/data engineering with drug substance, drug product, and attribute science data analytics teams

Basic Qualifications
Master's Degree and 2 years of engineering/scientific experience OR
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of engineering/scientific experience

Preferred Qualifications
Prior Experience with lab-based workflows and business processes for product development and commercialization within the life sciences industry
Experience with data visualization tools or packages, such as SpotFire and Tableau preferred
Passion for proactively identifying opportunities through business process analysis and modeling
Intellectual curiosity with ability to learn new concepts/frameworks, algorithms and technology rapidly as needs arise
Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Ability to deliver work and provide positive leadership in a fast-paced, multi-project team-oriented environment.
