Job Description:The Research Operations team is seeking an enthusiastic and result-oriented Research Project Manager to join our growing team at the Thousand Oaks, CA location. The Research Project Manager will be responsible for supporting cross-functional teams for a variety of Discovery pipeline projects in oncology. This is a highly visible position that will apply fit-for-purpose project management to scientific research.

Key responsibilities:Provides fit-for-purpose project management to Research project teams Provide support to the Senior Project Team Lead to manage the portfolio of Research projects in oncology Partners with project team leads to charter teams, develop core documents, establish timeline and budget, aligning project tactics with project strategy Manages project timelines and monitors team adherence to project plan; accountable for ensuring project plans/timelines are entered and updated in the enterprise system Facilitate effective project meetings, manage change and conflict in a matrix environment Identifies resource gaps and works with team to resolve Drives best practices across teams and develops and implements fit-for-purpose tools to efficiently support project teams

Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 3 years of Scientific experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Scientific experience

Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree and 3+ years research experience in Oncology, Inflammation, Cardiometabolic and or Induced-Proximity Platform Demonstrated fit-for-purpose project management experience supporting research programs in the biopharmaceutical industry Strong competencies in planning, project management, and organization with the ability to lead multiple activities and resources while maintaining a focus on quality Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively work in a team/matrix environment, to collaborate and coordinate with internal and external department staff at various levels, and to influence others effectively Demonstrated ability to lead multiple activities and resources while maintaining a focus on quality Quick learner who is proactive and takes initiative; strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong oral and written communications skills Self-directed, innovative and collaborative spirit, flexible to adapt to a dynamic environment, and resourceful Proven ability to grasp general knowledge of multiple disciplines detailed information.
