Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the RN First Assistant RNFA will enjoy working in this state-of-the art surgical unit proudly using da Vinci surgical systems and other top-of-the-line robotics. The Registered Nurse First Assistant will work with a fantastic team of surgeons, surgical nurses, nurse supervisors, physician assistants, and anesthesiologists in this active department. The General Surgery RNFA is responsible for monitoring patient care and triaging patient needs as they arise. The ideal candidate will be skilled in professionally communicating with Operating Room staff to clarify priorities and assign tasks in a timely and effective way. Applicants who complete their BSN within one year of hire are encouraged to apply.
