Robert Half is looking for a IT Generalist for a client in Tech field located in the Torrance area. The job duties call for the installation, support/maintenance of desktop hardware and support, and the maintenance of the IT infrastructure. This position would review performance and error logs daily for supported applications. Would monitor and respond to automated alerts. Provide customer support for issues escalated through the Service Desk. Would participate in a 24/7 on call rotation therefore the ideal candidate is okay with flexibility as night shifts and weekends. Candidate must be okay with heights.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required
  • Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Desktop hardware knowledge
  • Local- area and wireless networks knowledge
  • IT Infrastructure - Cat5/6 and fiber cabling
