A sustainable eCommerce/Supply Chain startup in the South Bay of Los Angeles is adding a Lead Java Engineer for an 80% hands on role. This company is focused on sustainable/green living, ideally looking for someone who is passionate and curious, interested in mentoring a team of 5 engineers. In this role you will be developing with Java 11, Java 8, Google Cloud Platform (any cloud experience is fine), Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Rest API, Microservices, MySQL, and an interest in Machine Learning. Any experience with eCommerce/supply chain is a plus as you will be developing their customer-facing website and order fulfillment platform. - 4+ years of professional Java experience
- Spring MVC/Spring Boot
- Rest API
- MySQL
- Experience with eCommerce or Supply Chain
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related degree
- Experience with Microservices
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Prior mentorship/ code review experience
- 80% Hands-On
- 20% Architecture/Mentorship/Code Reviews
- Competitive Pay: Up to $150K/year, DOE
