Although this is a contract role, it's long-term, as the average consultant is on project between 5-7 years. LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Daily Tasks: Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget Assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources. Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work effort being managed. Manages one or more cross functional projects of high complexity. Responsible for the management of one or more medium to large sized moderately to highly complex projects.Planning:- Define project plan, objective and milestone- Gain agreement from the customer- Oversee development of a plan to meet the objective- Assess risks and develop contingency plansOrganizing:- Manage project resources to perform work- Schedule onshore/offshore meetings- Coordinate vendors- Develop and deliver key documents- Maintain documents associated with project in an organized mannerManaging: - Monitor progress.- Manage a change control process.- Develop corrective actions.- Communicate with sponsors and stakeholders- TransitionCosting:- Conduct Budgeting- Forecasting- Variance Analysis- Resource AllocationReporting:- Create Presentations for stakeholders- Requested Monthly / Weekly / Daily reportsReporting: - Provide Presentations for stakeholders- Monthly / Weekly / Daily reportsREQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: (Resume must reflect this experience) 5+ years Project Management, driving design, development, testing, and implementations within project scope, schedules and budgets MUST have Project Management experience with vehicle/mobile telematics Hands-on knowledge of custom Internet application and mobility development (Vehicle/Mobile Telematics) Multiple successful end-to-end deliveries from scope through implementations, including maintenance. Experience overseeing and managing large, complex, diverse, and strategic projects that impact the organization as a whole. Experience estimating, tracking, variance analysis and maintaining budgets Experience conducting C-level presentations.
