Description:This person will be hands-on in managing the IT Client Support team in the Los Angeles area and other regions. The small team is comprised of members with a wide variety of technical knowledge in different aspects of IT and business systems. The primary function of this group is to provide technical support to our clients. The regional manager will provide technical leadership and hands-on administration for our client environments and assist in escalated technical issues, including application support, networking, email system administration, and management. They will report to the IT Director and partner with them on projects and initiatives.A successful candidate will be a part of all aspects of IT, from day-to-day management to network and systems design and administration to hardware and software support. This individual is not afraid to get their hands dirty and do what is necessary to ensure we meet our clients' expectations. This candidate from time to time will travel to client sites within their region, to assist in supporting their team and other projects.Experience with Azure, AWS, VMware/Hyper-V, Citrix, SAN Experience, VOIP Experience, Linux skills. Previous extensive hands-on experience using ConnectWise Automate (RMM) and IT Glue. Microsoft Certified IT Professional or better, CompTIA A+, ITIL 4 Foundation or better, MAC skills, Linux skills. Experience or certifications related to and/or with security and firewall/VPN technologies (i.e., Cisco, SonicWALL, Sophos, Watchguard, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, etc.).Professional Certifications HDI’s Customer Service Representative or Support Center Analyst Microsoft Certified IT Professional or better CompTIA A+, Network+, CISSP Microsoft certification (e.g., A+, MCP, MCSE, etc.) is related to IT support ITIL certification (Nice to have) Cisco CCNA or better (Nice to have)Additional Skills & Qualifications:At least two years of experience managing an IT support team in a business environment. The candidate must have excellent oral, phone, and written English skills. Outstanding customer service skills. Exhibit a can-do attitude in a fast-paced, multi-tasking setting. Extensive experience with desktop hardware, software applications, operating systems (Windows and Mac), and network connectivity is required. Must physically live in the Los Angeles, CA area and have a reliable means of transportation for use when needed (mileage will be reimbursed). Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication Previous experience providing VIP support or “white glove” support to executives or key personnel Ability to travel to client sites to perform troubleshooting when remote support fails Customer service-oriented and proactive in anticipating and resolving problems while maximizing efficient use of computing resources Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with patience, a customer-friendly attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment Intermediate solid knowledge of networking protocols and troubleshooting Familiarity with distributed computing environment concepts; local and network-based user and group accounts, and permissions Knowledge of IT best practices around data security Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications Mobile device management and administration, including iOS and Android devices Previous working and administering Microsoft 365 (Azure AD, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online), Microsoft Teams for Business, Google GSuite (Workspaces), RingCentral VOIP, BOX, and Cisco Umbrella Experience administering or managing Cisco Meraki, or other Cisco networking, Sophos, HP Aruba, or other enterprise networking solutions Experience working with/administering Active Directory and AD connect (Hybrid Join) scenarios Vendor management and procurement skillsAdditional Info:Conversion salary range is $85K-$90KAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
