Together, we accelerate the discovery, development and delivery of solutions that safeguard and improve human health.We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Global Tax to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax compliance for Phenomenex group, preparing EBIT forecasts, calculate global transfer pricing adjustment, handling tax audits, and ensuring policy adherence across our global operations. This role demands an in-depth understanding of international tax regulations, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across different regions.What we’ll get you doing:

Oversee US and Canadian tax compliance, ensuring timely preparation and submission of various tax returns including Income Tax, Tax Treaty-Based Returns, Sales Tax, and GST/HST.

Prepare and submit global legal entity EBIT forecasts for Phenomenex group to Danaher and collaborate with finance teams to prepare monthly tax rollforward schedules.

Manage tax inquiries, audits, and oversee the issuance and renewal of tax exemption certificates and property tax payments.

Handle year-end transfer pricing adjustments and manage the ASC740 tax provision process, collaborating with external auditors for group tax submission.

Manage deferred tax assets and liabilities, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with internal tax policies, updating them as necessary.

The essential requirements of the role include:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, and related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred (e.g., CTP, ATA/ATP). Candidates who do not currently hold a professional qualification must be actively pursuing one.

5+ years of experience in tax management, with a focus on US and Canadian tax compliance.

Strong knowledge of international tax regulations and transfer pricing.

Proven experience handling tax audits and inquiries from regulatory authorities.

Proficiency in tax software and financial reporting tools, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
