Job Description
Product Manager Torrance, CA- 100% remote ok after 1 st couple of weeks 6 month contract to hire DOE Immediate hire with growing company. Successful candidate will own development of a new hardware/software, turn key product. Identify immediate and/or upcoming user needs, then work with the team to develop a product plan that addresses them. Partner with stakeholders, development and sales teams to deliver on key use cases. Responsible for the overall program business outcomes including pricing, financials, business models, and go to market strategies in partnership with sales and stakeholders. Is the primary driver for identifying significant opportunities, and driving product vision, strategy and roadmap. Incorporate data, research, testing and market analysis to inform product strategy and roadmap. Communicate product status to internal (including executive) teams. Continuously improve product quality by maintaining pulse on customer issues and feedback after launch, as well as by managing internal beta testing execution and integration of user feedback into product roadmap Required Skills:- 5+ years of product management experience
- 2+ years of experience as a product manager with a go to market physical good
- Experience managing delivery of 1 or more hardware/software products
- Working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team to drive product vision, define product requirements, and guide team through key milestones
- Technical experience with hardware subsystems and components, analytical tools, product development methodologies and design
- Experience identifying significant opportunities and driving product vision, strategies, and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals
- Experience going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution
- Experience delivering products with new technology introduction
- Experience in the military or government in relation to security
- Active security clearance
- Experience with IP-based physical security systems.
