Job Title: Data Privacy Compliance AnalystDuration: 6+ monthsLocation: Torrance, CA 90501Job Description:Roles and Responsibilities: Within the CX Division, the Data Privacy Governance (DPG) team serves as the hub for privacy compliance work across the Honda enterprise. The analyst(s) within the team will collaborate with business and project teams to collect and share information, identify compliance requirements, and develop compliant solutions. Extensive interaction with those teams, with IT personnel, and with the Honda legal teams is requires. The analyst will support the fulfillment of customer rights requests received under CA Consumer Privacy Act and other similar laws as they become effective.Daily Tasks: •Support data privacy compliance within the organization including requirements writing, design, coordination, analysis and communicating.•Collaborate with business and project teams to develop compliance recommendations. Assist with the presentation of recommendations to our governance bodies. •Facilitation with internal stakeholders, IT partners, potential vendors (including selection process) in the promotion, support and maintenance of all initiatives related to data privacy compliance•Administer the monthly meetings between DPG and its "team of teams"•Stay up to date on data privacy regulations. Correlate with internal and external counsel, and DPG leadership to interpret new privacy laws and assess their impact on our business. •Create and maintain detailed records relating to data inventories, business requirements, process flows, presentations, meeting records, etc. to support the Honda data privacy program and its governance requirements.Required Skills: •Must have Bachelor's Degree or higher.•Must have data privacy experience (GDPR and CCPA) •Strong presentation and analysis skills.•The ability to work with team members from different levels (executive leadership to business analysts) and different business units across the enterprise (Sales, Service, Marketing, Finance, IT).•Project management and project scheduling.•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Proficient in collaboration tools like Sharepoint, Jira, etc.Desired Skills: •Experience with digital tools in the consumer-facing space (website, marketing, analytics, etc.).•Familiarity with IT development processes and coordination.•Experience in an Agile work environment.•Experience in vendor selection through proposal (RFP) process.
