- Analyze requirements/stories in JIRA to create documented test cases in TestRail to perform QA testing activities against web and mobile software.
- Conducting smoke, regression, functional and integration testing for mobile and web apps from a black box level and from an API level.
- Create excellent documentation around all testing activities and processes.
- Interfacing with 3rd party vendors to report issues, troubleshoot defects, scope testing needs and procuring equipment to address testing integration/compatibility needs of the project.
- Hands-on self-starter that can drive results in an efficient and effective manner.
- Support software team to validate software requirements with various hardware platforms such as AVS card reader, mobile payment systems, IoT, connected devices/technology.
- Identify issues in software/hardware functionality and performance, and provide actionable recommendations based on analysis of testing results.
- Communicate technical information and train both technical and non-technical teams.
- Must have "willing to learn" attitude and flexible to change and adapt in a fast pace environment.
- Must be able to work on multiple tasks at a time and manage time and priorities effectively leveraging JIRA project management tool.
- Position is part time remote, part time onsite. Schedule is determined by software release schedules and can vary.
- B.S. or M.S. in Engineering/Math/Science or related technical degree.
- 8+ years of QA testing experience on mobile & web technologies in an Agile environment
- 3 years of experience using SCRUM/Agile/JIRA, and comfortable working with groups in 2-week sprints
- Very familiar with Agile software development life cycle.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced, goal oriented and collaborative environment
