Quality Assurance Rep C - FTP 2 (Day Shift)

Pay Range: $18.00 to $21.15 per hourWorks under FSQA management guidance to ensure compliance with Foster Farms, FSIS/USDA, and customer requirements. Monitor the production process and perform routine Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) checks in accordance with the food safety and quality programs at the manufacturing site.  Ensure the process is in control and the product meets the standards set by the company.Ensure compliance to Food Safety systems through monitoring of process and documentationEnsure compliance to QA process controls through monitoring and documentationEnsure food safety documentation meets legal/regulatory requirementsDirect product disposition, including ensuring inventory control and appropriate reconditioning proceduresVerify sanitation practices through pre-operational inspection of equipmentCommunicate to production/maintenance personnel/supervision to resolve quality issuesCommunicate to production/maintenance personnel/supervision to resolve food safety issuesCommunicate with USDA personnel to resolve regulatory issuesOther duties as assigned
