Accounts Payable Specialist

DescriptionRequirementsAccountemps has an exceptional opportunity for a short term temporary Accounts Payable professional to join the team at a recognized company we work closely with. Processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist.Your responsibilities will include:-Collect and enter new vendor information-Enter invoices and apply appropriate GL codes-Prepare invoices for approval and payment-Manage PO reconciliation process-Research, track, and report on AP issues and discrepancies-Communicate with vendors to resolve any billing inquiries-Assist with month end close process-Document accounting policies and procedures Qualities we look for include:-Exceptional attention to detail and consistency-Reliable and self-motivated-Strong problem solving skills-BA/BS or associates degree in accounting or finance-3-5 years experience in high volume Accounts Payable-Expertise in Quickbooks Online, and Excel-Experience with inventory and ecommerce preferred-Must be eligible to work in the US  Accountemps’ ProcessOnce we know that you're interested, an Accountemps recruiter will review your resume and contact you to better understand your skills and tell you more about the opportunity.
