- Experienced expert in Data Governance including experience with best practices for ensuring the quality, security, accuracy and completeness of the data under the authority of the Data Confidence team.
- Works closely with stakeholders and other teams to define standards for data access, retention and destruction and supporting audits of our data infrastructure for legal compliance.
- Works cross functionally with stakeholders and other engineering teams to identify the data sources and orchestration needed to meet the demands of the enterprise.
- Designing, developing and maintaining solutions to: source, integrate, transform, cleanse, normalize and expose / present data to various constituents / consumer groups such as other engineering groups, data science or other end users
- Recommends and influences the adoption of Data related technologies and products.
- Experience in AWS, MS SQL Server, Postgres, Oracle, ETL technologies (SSIS, Informatica)
- Experience with Data Governance and technical leadership of data engineering teams
- Experience in managing and communicating data architecture plans to internal clients
- Prior experience with financial systems is a plus
- Prior experience with Snowflake, Kafka, Python
