DescriptionRobert Half Technology is seeking a Technical New Product Development Coordinator/Project Manager for a well-known provider of networking, memory, and workplace upgrades. This company has earned a reputation for providing quality solutions to their customers for over 20 years and are looking to assign a Coordinator to their team that will assist in formalizing the new product development process. You will be responsible for applying key project management principles in this role, and must possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.Some of the other responsibilities of this position include:
Lead the establishment and maintenance of new product introduction processes.
Establish a project request and approval process.
Provide administrative support for new product approval and development processes, including tracking and leading regular meetings.
Work closely with various departments to support all reporting needs of product teams.
RequirementsA successful candidate for this position will have:
PMP Certification or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science discipline preferred.
2+ years of project management experience, preferably in electronics/optics industries.
2+ years of experience using SmartSheet, MS Project, or similar project scheduling tools.
Proficiency in using MS Office suite and database management tools.
Must be able to read, write, analyze and interpret general business reports.
Ability to initiate and develop key relationships and interfaces.
